No. Your trial begins without any EHR connection. Mari sends patients a link, conducts the interview, and delivers a summary to you via email. EHR integration is available when you're ready — it's not a prerequisite.
Yes — a Business Associate Agreement is part of the standard trial setup. It is included in your trial onboarding, not a separate procurement step. If you need a copy in advance (e.g. for compliance review), email us and we'll send it immediately.
We'll reach out before the trial ends to discuss whether Mari is a fit for your practice. There is no automatic charge or commitment. If you'd like to continue, we'll discuss pricing at that point.
Before the appointment, the patient receives a link — via text or email — to a mobile-friendly chat interface. They complete the interview (typically 4–12 minutes). No app download required. The completed summary is sent to the physician before the visit.
